At Studio ACE, we offer a combination of leveled classes and age-based classes because we believe dancers thrive when both their technical needs and personal development are supported.
Leveled classes allow us to place dancers according to their individual ability, strength, and experience rather than just their age. This ensures each student is challenged appropriately, builds strong technique, and progresses safely and confidently at their own pace.
At the same time, age-based classes create a positive and encouraging environment where dancers can connect with peers in a similar stage of development. These classes help build friendships, confidence, and a strong sense of community. something we believe is just as important as technical training.
By offering both options, we’re able to support each dancer as a whole, helping them grow not only as performers, but as confident individuals.

FAQs
LEAPS, IMPROV & TURNS (L.I.T.)
A Leaps, improv & turns class helps dancers build strong technical skills while also exploring their creativity. Students focus on proper technique for jumps, leaps, and turns to improve strength, balance, and control, while the improvisation portion encourages them to move freely, express themselves, and build confidence in their own unique style. It’s a well-rounded class that strengthens both skill and artistry in a fun, supportive environment.
Company Prep Class
Our Company Prep Class is designed for dancers who want to get a strong head start before competition season begins. Throughout the summer, students will focus on building technique, strength, flexibility, performance quality, and confidence, key skills needed for success on a competitive dance team. This class also introduces dancers to combinations, conditioning, and training expectations they’ll experience during the season, helping them feel prepared, motivated, and ready to step into team life with confidence.
Combo Class
A Combo class teaches dancers a variety of short choreography combinations, helping them strengthen memory, musicality, and performance skills. By regularly learning and practicing new combinations, students train their minds and bodies to pick up choreography more quickly and confidently, making it a great class for improving retention, focus, and versatility as a dancer.
Progressive Technique
Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) is a specialized training method that helps dancers strengthen their technique by focusing on muscle memory, alignment, and body awareness. Using tools like exercise balls and resistance bands, students safely build core strength, stability, and proper placement, which supports better balance, control, and injury prevention. It’s designed to complement regular dance classes and helps dancers understand how their bodies should work to execute movements correctly and confidently.
